Fred Grant has depicted the significant site of Tjanputa situated in the northeast of traditional Spinifex Lands. This site holds the Wati Kutjara Tjukurpa (Two Men Creation Line), a far reaching narrative that follows the movement of Two Men, both lizards, a sand goanna and a black nosed monitor as they traverse the Spinifex Country. These are creation beings who make the physical realm as they move through it, leaving indelible reminders within the landscape of their power and presence.
